It’s easy to get distracted by the cinnamon, but it’s actually not as good for you as you think.
For starters, the more cinnamon you eat, the higher your chances of developing allergies.
That’s because it contains other ingredients like sugar and sodium that you need to keep in check to avoid developing food allergies.
You might think that this is because cinnamon is good for us, but a study in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology found that people who ate more cinnamon had more severe asthma symptoms.
Here’s what you need in your next coke order.
Add a cinnamon stick or cinnamon roll To make cinnamon roll, combine the cinnamon sticks and cinnamon rolls in a bowl, and set aside.
You’ll need about two dozen cinnamon sticks, each measuring about 3/4 to 1 inch thick.
Add the remaining cinnamon to the bowl, along with the remaining sugar and salt.
Set aside until you’re ready to eat the cinnamon.
Mix in the water Once you’re done with the cinnamon roll and cinnamon stick, add the water to the cinnamon bowl, stir to combine, and pour into a small bowl.
This should create a mixture that’s 1/4 cup thick.
Stir well and store in the fridge for up to one week.
Cook it down When you’re finished with the rolls, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook them for about 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown on both sides.
Serve them warm with maple syrup, sliced bread, or a slice of fresh fruit.
Enjoy them with a cup of tea or a mug of coffee 5.
Store in the refrigerator for up the next two weeks.
