The coke fiends of the internet, Reddit, have come together to share their love for sugar and coke with the world.
On Tuesday, the Sugar in Coke team released the video “Candice Coak Is the Latest To Benefit From Sugar in Coca-Cola”.
The video was created by a group of Sugar inCoke fans who have been posting about their love of coke and sugar on Reddit.
“Coke in Coke is the first product we’ve made that has really turned the tables on the fizzy beverage industry,” one user wrote.
“I’ve seen more sugar in soda than I care to admit,” said another.
Another added: “It has been my absolute dream to drink Coke in Coke.”
In response to this success, the team created a second video to show off the new coke.
The video features the duo in a Coca-cola ad, featuring a sugar-laden coke machine.
“You know, Coca- Cola’s marketing department did an incredible job creating this commercial for Coke,” one Sugar inCoke fan told HuffPost UK.
“There’s so much sugar in it, I can almost smell it,” said a third.
“The only thing we want to say is: ‘We want to tell you we’re sick of you.'”
A fourth said: “We love it when Coca-Cola gives us a kick out of it.”
The sugar-centric video was released on Tuesday (May 22) to celebrate the success of the coke video.
Co-founder Candice Lee says the team has been making sugar-free coke for a long time, but now is the time for her to show them what they’re made of.
“When we created the video, it was all about sugar and sugar, sugar and more sugar, so it was very much about trying to make something that we feel good about,” she told HuffPost.
“We wanted to be able to share this with the people that we love.”
“I love Coca-Coke,” one of the Sugar InCoke members, who is known only as “Punk” told HuffPost via Twitter.
“Its a great drink, its so refreshing and it is the absolute best soda I have ever had.”
“Coca-Cola has never been known for having a bad taste, so I think that’s one of their reasons for it,” Panda said. “
If you put sugar in Coke, you get an extra sugar kick and you feel like youre getting a boost in energy, it feels good.”
“Coca-Cola has never been known for having a bad taste, so I think that’s one of their reasons for it,” Panda said.
“And if it comes down to the simple fact that they dont taste like sugar, it’s a really good idea.”
The Sugar inCola video also features co-founder Coco Calzada.
“It was a really hard project,” she said.
Coco Calazada, who has made several videos on the team’s YouTube channel, told HuffPost that the co-founders of the team have been working for years to produce a sugar free Coke.
“That’s why we wanted to bring something to the table that everyone can enjoy, and this is the answer,” Coco said.
“Candace and I are super excited to share the story of Sugar and Coca- Coke,” Coco added.”
This is a great way to say thank you to our fans and to thank all the people who have helped us along the way.”
